Yuletide × Nesting With Grace: Brooke Unboxes Our New England Christmas
Nesting With Grace Collaboration
Yuletide is here, and Brooke just opened the box.
Yuletide is our New England Christmas collection, designed with interior designer and creator Brooke Christen of Nesting With Grace. Today she unboxed it at home, from the honeycomb trees to the paper chains, with a little jolly dancing along the way.
The story
A storybook Christmas, designed together
Picture an old New England home at Christmas. Greenery draped over the mantel, candles glowing, and patterns that look like they've been collected and loved for generations. That's Yuletide.
We designed it with Brooke of Nesting With Grace: burgundy gingham, a green floral stripe, a botanical block print and a Christmas tree plate finished with a little bow. Every piece layers with the others, and plenty of it comes back out year after year.
Such a joy! The first time I saw My Mind’s Eye was at a Christmas party, the way they added whimsy and elevated a basic paper plate, I knew I needed them at all my future gatherings!

In her words
Two questions for Brooke
What do you love most about Christmas at your house?
I love how it feels like a cozy cottage as soon as I put out Christmas decor! Immediately puts me in the mood for creating, Christmas movies and gathering!
What inspired the Yuletide collection?
We can always take notes from vintage decor, the patterns are very nostalgic. The goal was a mixture of patterns and colors, because setting a table and decorating for the holidays is the perfect time to do it!

The Yuletide Paper Chain Kit
$11.99
This is the piece that got the jolly dancing started. Ninety-six double-sided strips in four coordinating designs mix gingham with intricate seasonal prints for that collected, old New England look.
- 96 double-sided paper strips
- Four designs in burgundy, green, red and cream
- Adhesive included, so each link peels and sticks
- About 20 feet long once it's finished
Brooke's plan. Hang it from corner to corner and center it with a chandelier, like a Christmas tent. It also drapes beautifully across a mantel or around the tree.
