The design itself is genuinely lovely. The layered cutouts, the bare tree, the bats, and the way the lights sit behind the panels — lit up in a dark room, it's a striking piece, and I'd happily buy more from this line.
The execution didn't match the design. The box arrived carefully packed, so this wasn't shipping damage. Dried glue was visible across several of the black panels, which shows badly against the matte finish, and four of the walls had come away from the structure. I had to reattach them myself before it would stand properly. Even now, the seams don't sit flush, and there are visible gaps at the corners.
From a few feet away, with the lights on, it looks charming. Up close, the glue marks and gaps are hard to ignore. Three stars because the concept deserves better — a little more care during production would make this a five-star piece.
