I%20bought%20this%20set%20when%20it%20was%20on%20sale%20after%20Christmas.%20The%20cards%20are%20thicker%20and%20nicer%20than%20I%20expected.%20My%20granddaughter%20will%20be%20just%20the%20right%20age%20for%20it%20next%20Christmas/%20

Several years ago, my husband and I began taking our oldest grandson, now 8, to see The Nutcracker. Two years ago, we took both the oldest and middle grandsons, leaving the youngest behind. He was sad not to be included, but at 3 years, is just too young. So this past Christmas, we gave him this game to play with his parents while his older brothers were at the ballet. This is a good game for developing cognitive skills, and also to introduce him to the characters from the story so he will be more prepared when he is old enough to see the magic - we’re hoping that will be in 2025!
