HOW DO YOU USE A BAKING CUP?
Baking Cups are perfect for baking any treats in the oven at temperatures up to 375 degrees. They are not meant for the microwave. We like to bake: cupcakes, sweet breads, cheesecakes, and brownies!
Baking cups are also great at parties for individual serving portions on a buffet or dessert table, and are fun to add dips and sauces to individual place settings. We like to use them to hold: candy, as charcuterie cups, nuts, mints, ice cream, or cookies, but really the sky is the limit on these!
CAN BAKING CUPS GO IN THE OVEN?
Yes! Baking cups are meant to be placed right on a cookie sheet (leave room between each cup for air circulation for even baking) and add your batter right into the cup. Then they can go into the oven all the way up to 375 degrees.
DO I GREASE BAKING CUPS?
Nope! The baking cups are already pre-coated and they do not need to be greased!
HOW FULL SHOULD I FILL THE CUP?
This depends on the batter but for your typical fluffy cake batter, you want to fill the cup about 1/2 way to have the cupcake just below the rim of the cup. We’ve found that means one large 2oz. scoop of batter. Or 3.5-4Tbsps. If you want the cake to pop up above the rim fill up 3/4th of the way! Of course this changes depending on how much your batter will rise, but this is a good starting place!
HOW MANY CUPCAKES CAN I MAKE IN YOUR BAKING CUPS WITH ONE BOXED CAKE MIX?
Because our baking cups are larger than your average cupcake wrapper or muffin tin, we have found that one box mix makes 16 cupcakes. If you fill each cup halfway.
HOW DO YOU EAT A CUPCAKE FROM A BAKING CUP?
The baking cups are strong enough that you can use a fork or spoon if you would like but, the paper wrappers tear just like a cupcake wrapper, simply tear at the seam and enjoy!
ARE BAKING CUPS REUSABLE?
No, our baking cups are made of paper and are not meant to be reused.
